This past Sunday when I decided to start shooting personal work again the camera didn't make it out of the house. Here's some bean soup working in the crockpot, lit by a south-facing window.
I've rediscovered one of the reasons I quit updating this photo blog and it has nothing to do with taking photographs. It's the spam. Every day there are about thirty messages in the spam queue and the spammers are getting more and more sophisticated. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep this blog updated on the latest anti-spam technology because it's on a platform called PixelPost, which ceased development in 2009. It's a beautiful platform but in a matter of time it probably won't work at all. That means I really need to update to Wordpress or some other platform if I want to keep the blog going.- Jim T.

I like the perspective.

I feel your pain, Jim. WP is quite good at catching those Buggers. In 3 years I've had nearly 8700 Spam related comments, but only TWO that I can recall have actually made it through the filters...
I like your composition, and that window gives good light. Pass me a bowl please, that soup looks appetizing!
